Meet Our Team
Shelly Gregg has been with our clinic since May of 1998. She is married, has a son, a daughter and 5 wonderful grandchildren. She also has 2 silly dogs, 3 lazy cats and many fish. Some of her favorite pastimes are shopping, antiquing, gardening, and of course, spoiling her grand babies.
Linda Vaughn has been a receptionist for us since 2000. She is married and the mother of three. She was recently blessed with her first grandchild (It was a Boy!!) She is a graduate of the University of Missouri and is a HUGE Tiger fan. Her youngest daughter also works at the clinic during the summer and on holidays. Linda enjoys golf, bicycling, traveling and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Her four-legged family includes 4 dogs and 2 cats. She also has a bird!
Kim Rooney has been the co-owner and office manager/bookkeeper at our clinic since 2001 when she and her husband, Dr. Rooney purchased the practice. In addition to her many duties at the clinic, she owns her own personal training and nutritional consultation business as well as being a full-time mom to two girls and a house full of various pets. In her very little spare time, she enjoys time at the lake with her family and friends.
Rachel Bergen, RVT has been working at CRAC since 2005. She graduated from Maple Woods as a registered vet tech in 2007. Rachel is the wife of an amazing husband and the mommy of two sweet little girls, as well as a menagerie of furry, feathery and scaly babies. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, shopping and coffee.
Brenda McBride, RVT joined our team in August of 2010.. She grew up in Kansas City surrounded by family and pets. She has worked in the veterinary field since she was 20 years old. She fell in love with the nursing side of veterinary medicine. She graduated from Maple Woods vet tech program in 1981. Brenda finds helping people take care of their animal, as well as getting to know the clients very rewarding. She spends her free time with her husband, 2 sons and 2 grand kids. She dearly loves her 14 year old Cocker Spaniel, Sophie!
Lori Peace, after nearly 30 years of working in accounting, re-careered and found her way to our clinic in 2008. Lori enjoys working with clients and their pets at the front desk and helping the doctors and technicians when she can. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, and with the help of family and friends, caters weddings, anniversary parties, dances and other special events several times a year. In the spring of 2013, Lori's daughter, Courtney, got her started on a run/walk program and together they ran six 5K races last summer and fall, They have several races on the calendar for the near future too!
Lisa Drinkert, RVT has worked at our clinic since November 2010. She attended Brown Mackie College where she received her vet tech degree. She lives in Greenwood with her fiance' and their 4 dogs. Some of her hobbies include shopping, swimming and DIY projects.
Faith Hawley has been working at Chipman Road Animal Clinic since September 2013. She is a junior at Lee's Summit North High School. She is an International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate. She plans to attend the University of Missouri and pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horse, Skylar.
Katelyn Hardt started at Chipman Road Animal Clinic as a kennel girl in high school. After her 4 years at the University of Missouri (Go Tigers!), where she received her degree in elementary education, she rejoined our team as a receptionist in 2013. She recently got married in September 2014 on the beach. She is a huge animal lover and has 2 cats and a very loved German Short Hair puppy. She aspires to return to teaching, but her face will still be seen at the clinic often.
Katie Reichert has worked at CRAC since December of 2013. She grew up on a farm in Holden, MO and is the youngest of 5 sisters. Katie's hobbies include sports, hiking, gaming, concerts and hanging out with her fiance', Adam. She has one 6 year old dog, Clover who is a happy, go lucky yellow Lab.
